As a writer of non-fiction info products I like to read a lot of non-fiction books and ebooks. Especially business related books. As Seth Godin wrote on his blog:

The #1 habit successful people share with me is this: They read books to learn.

Learning is a very important part of growing our business and reading is a fun way of doing this. And I’m not talking about the latest $97 “blueprint” being hyped up. It doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg. I’ve recently re-discovered the library. It’s a great place to get some work done while getting out of the house (which is also my office). But there are so many great titles there and you can check them out for free!

Check out the book below. It’s awesome. You can pick up for well under 20 bucks and they list the 100 Best Business Books of All Times! Many of these you check out from the library for free. So order it below and never stop learning!

Education is very important for all aspects of life including Internet marketing. No one will ever know everything there is to know about Internet marketing, affiliate marketing, copywriting, web design, etc. Therefore it’s important to learn and continue to learn.

I prefer books than anything written by the Internet marketing guru crowd. You will learn more from a copywriter like John Caples who worked well before the Internet even existed. But you will learn more from his book, Tested Advertising Methods written in the 1930′s than any ebook or course online right now. Many of the strategies used by the Internet marketing gurus were created by copywriting pioneers like John Caples.

The larger headline, the long copy, all the tricks of the trade used by Internet marketers were used offline for years before the Internet was even created. Read the classics and you will learn a ton. And compare the price! John Caples masterpiece costs $10.85 on Amazon compared to the gurus repackaged, rehashed info they peddle online for $67, $77, $97, $197, and on up!

I always take time to read so I thought I would share my reading list with you. I found a great plugin from Rob Miller which lets me share the current book I’m reading, plus the last one I’ve read (with my review) and the next one on my list.
