If you live in the United States you today is Thanksgiving Day. It’s a big holiday here were we get together with family and friends to give thanks for our blessings. Than we over load on carbs by over eating turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, gravy, and all that good stuff. Than we watch football, and crash out.

That’s the high level concept of thanks giving for my readers outside of the U.S.

The Warrior Forum is an online presence since 1997 that cannot be
ignored if you are a serious Internet marketer.

The forum is populated by marketers with all levels of expertise
and clear needs for quality, current information products and
services. It can be a goldmine for selling your products through
the famous Warrior Special Offers or WSO’s which usually has
hundreds of potential customers perusing the WSO forum at once.

Allen Says the founder of the Warrior Forum put it this way:

“…People have also made and continue to make small and large
fortunes posting their deals in here.”

I have posted several WSO’s and I have made thousands of dollars
and added hundreds of subscribers to my list over the years.

But before you go out trying to post your first WSO you need to
understand how WSO’s operate. Not doing so can end up hurting
your business reputation.

I’ve seen it happen many times. New Warriors given terrible
advice to just go post a WSO to make some quick cash. Yes, you
can make amount of cash fast with a quality WSO but there is
more to it than just that.

Plus the Warrior forum can be an intimidating place so I’ve
decided to put together a short report to help you
Understanding WSO’s.

I’ve been interested in site flipping since I have several niche sites I don’t have time to really promote so I thought I could sell them. I’ve been reading a few reports, attended a couple teleseminars, and some of the stuff I’m seeing about site flipping is pretty nuts. For those who don’t know site flipping is when you create a site just to turn around and sell it fast.

One of these teleseminars they’re spending a week to build a site, writing articles, outsourcing, and so on so they can sell it for $75-$300. I think that’s nuts. A lot of work for peanuts. If you keep the site you’ll make more than that.

Anyway, I just got Kate Anderson’s course of site flipping so I’m going to go though it and see if I get the a-ha moment. But seems buyers want a site which is already making money, has backlinks, is indexed, ranks well on Google with certain keywords, has original content (no PLR), has submitted to all the directories, has a unique product to sell on ClickBank, and so on…for $300-400! The time to put in to that would be at least 10-15 hours and that’s outsourcing the site design, hiring a ghostwriter…you’re working for peanuts. That seem flipping nuts to me. Keep the damn site and you’ll make more than $400.

Plus to do all that take times so if you sell a site that’s already making money and is ranking a few months down the road I don’t think that’s the really site flipping anymore. The quick WordPress flips seem to go for around $75. Folks need to value their time more than that.

There was a post on the Warrior Forum where some created a nice looking site with a ClickBank ready e-book to sell. And he flipped it for $397. He spent around $150 for the ghostwriter, etc.  So his net was $247 not factoring his time.  It doesn’t seem worth it.

I’ll keep everyone posted as I take a look into site flipping. I might end up eating my own words but right now I’m just not getting it.

It’s amazing to think you can catch grief in this business (Internet Marketing) for speaking honestly and having your readers/subscribers interests be your first prerogative. But this has been brewing the past week to Lynn Terry. Full disclosure: I consider a Lynn to be a mentor (shhh, she doesn’t know) and I’m a member of her SSWT Elite Group. This is the ONLY private forum/membership that I pay for and I’m happy to do so because Lynn is one of the best persons to learn from in this business.

I recommend you read her post about “No Real Short Cuts“. It’s an amazing glimpse inside the A-list crowd and it demonstrates why Lynn Terry is so special–she tells the way it is.

Warning: Yahoo Domains Increases Price from $9.95 to $34.95

A few years ago when Yahoo domains first started offering domain reg services they were charging $1.99 for unlimited .com domains.

That was a sweet deal, so I picked up a bunch of domains.  I’ve been transferring them out since Yahoo Domain services are terrible for domaining (example: they have no push capabilities so to sell a domain registered with Yahoo, you need to transfer it out of there).

Anyway, I still have 11 domains registered with Yahoo Domains.  These are domains I was lazy to transfer over to Go Daddy so I just renewed them with Yahoo for $9.95 which is more than I pay for domains but as I already wrote, I was lazy.

Needless to say I was shocked when I got this email from Yahoo Domains:

Talk about bait and switch.  Lure you in for $1.99 than increase it to $9.95 and now they’re sticking to you for $34.95.

I don’t know if they’re on crack or they just want to weed out domainers so only small business suckers who don’t know $34.95 per year for a domain registration is complete rip off, are left with Yahoo Domians.

Needless to say the transfer of my remaining domains with Yahoo Domains to Go Daddy is in progress.  Soon Yahoo Domains will be nothing buy a memory for me.

I just wish the small business owner would research to easily find domains at under $10 per year before being ripped off by Yahoo Domains.

I received notice that eBay is dumping Commission Junction (CJ) and ValueClick and will instead run their own affiliate program.  This is music to my ears as I really do not like CJ.  Their software and website just sucks in my opinion.  I never understood why a company like eBay would use a third party service provider to manage their affiliate program.  It’s good to hear they’ve come to their senses.

So we have less than a month to go since eBay will begin running their own affiliate program in April.
