CB Affiliate Formula Hype Machine
By Alan | September 27, 2007
I’m sure if you’re in the Internet marketing gig and belong to one or more of the big IM dogs lists you were bombarded with emails for Andrew Fox’s CB Affiliate Formula (the CB is for Click Bank). I lost count on how many emails I received on this product.
I’ll be honest, I was tempted. The sales copy was good and hell Andrew Fox is a very successful Internet marketer he even shows you his two red Ferrarri’s to prove it.
I re- read the sales letter a couple times, read a few of the emails I received but in the end, I stayed away from CB Affiliate Formula.
Boy, am I glad I did! I have yet to read one positive review, even those that try to give it a positive spin agree that there is no real content yet but they are Andrew Fox believers. They will wait for Andrew to come through with the sales page promises and hop that eventually they will have access to the great content that was promised.
I guess they should be honored to wait and pay $77 per month until Andrew adds content?
Since I resisted the temptation you can this straight-forward CB Affiliate Formula review that I found helpful from someone who did buy it. Or just Google “CB Affiliate Formula Review”.
It’s yet a continuation of a disturbing trend of Internet marketing big dogs offering over-hyped, over-priced fluff. And the folks keep buying it. It’s just amazing. These folks would buy swamp land in Florida from these guys.
I don’t see such issues outside of Internet marketing/work from home niche or at least not as blatant. They have no shame to throw a half-ass product out there. I guess they don’t care if their reputation takes a hit. Who knows what goes on in their heads.
People have to say enough. Perhaps the FTC needs to make an example out of one these guys. You just can’t promise all these great things on your web page and not deliver.
At least spell it out in your sales letter that you’re working on the content and it’s not ready yet but I guess it wouldn’t sell as well especially at $77 per month plus the $67 per month up sell many folks signed up for! Crazy shit indeed.
