Lynn Terry has a great post offering some awesome tips on how to setup your forum signature in the forums you visit. That’s right your forum signature!
Forums are a wonderful way of meeting folks, networking, and learning a lot but it’s also a great way to promote your products and website so make sure you’re using your forum signature to promote yourself, website, product, etc.
Please make sure to read the forum rules first – you don’t want to start off by getting banned or getting the community ticked off at you for forum spamming.
I really enjoyed Lynn’s suggestions of personalizing your forum signature so you’re offering something special to your forum buddies.
For example if I was promoting a product on Lynn’s SSWT Forums I would offer a discount via my forum signature just to SSWT members.
