A few weeks ago eBay announced that it had teamed up with Pepperjam which is an affiliate network company. So now folks can build their eBay niche stores as a Pepperjam affiliate vs. partnering directly with eBay’s in-house affiliate program, ePN.
It was a bit odd since it was only a few months since eBay announced it was taking their affiliate program in-house away from CJ.
I haven’t had any issues with ePN but since phpBay is now integrated with Pepperjam (well before BANS) and the president and CEO of Pepperjam has posted a few times over at the phpBay customer private forums, I figured I would give it a try.
Perhaps the Pepperjam tracking states are more robust. My application is still pending but once activated, I will setup a niche store as a Pepperjam affiliate so I can compare it against ePN.
