RentACoder Review Update

My RentACoder project lasted longer than I anticpated but in the end the final product exceeded my expectations so the deadline frustrations are a wash.

Outsourcing is a pain there is no doubt about that but like anything the more you do it, the easier it will get. Kick ass detailed oriented specifications are a key. As is constant communication.

Here is my final RAC video review update.

  1. Hey Alan,
Have you tried using a different browser? Another question is how much did the rentacoder project set you back?

    Thanks
    Daniel

  2. nevermind, i just saw your other vid that stated it was 100 bucks. Its awesome that they added an admin panel for no extra charge.

  3. I did try with different browsers (Firefox, IE, and Safari) and from my mac laptop and PC desktop and no cigar since they have me blocked by my IP.

I also tried with a proxy service but as soon as I try to login I get the same message. I was able to contact the coder directly so he’s aware of the problem and at least now he knows I’m not trying to rip him off.

If by EOD Monday RAC hasn’t answered my emails and phone call I’ll just have my credit card issue a chargeback since I can’t access my escrowed monies with RentACoder. RAC has left a bad taste in my mouth. Next time, I’ll try Odesk or elance.
