The Quick and Dirty Low-Down on the SEO Book

Why I Recommend the SEO Book

Lets face it we all love free stuff! And as an Internet marker or even just a webmaster with a hobby website we just love that free organic and natural traffic from the search engines.

As much as we rely on paid search results via AdWords folks searching on Google know the difference between an ad and the natural, organic search ranking results thus the natural results get a lot more attention and clicks from the end users and those clicks are free!

There was an amazing eye-tracking study conducted in 2006 that shows what people look at while searching Google. Take a look:

Google Eye Tracking Study

The above image is from an eye-tracking study conducted by Enqurio.

You can see from that image above that most of the activity is to the right on the natural search results compared to the paid results to the left. And most of the attention was given to the first five organic search results (the top three are red hot!)

If you can optimize your website to rank in the first page of your keyword phrases your bottom line will be a lot rosier than via PPC. Not only will you get more clicks but those clicks would be free. That’s a pretty awesome ROI!

I know, easier said than done. And it takes time to rank well for organic searches and you want traffic now. So do I and that is why I use AdWords PPC campaigns but I do not ignore SEO.

I do everything I can to ensure my websites are SEO friendly so I work on my organic search rankings while I conduct my PPC campaigns.

It behoves you to the same. Ignore SEO and you are leaving a lot money on the table! This is where Aaron Wall’s SEO Book comes in.

Aaron does an amazing job walking you through the whole SEO process so you can optimize your website on all the search engines not just Google. He discusses SEO best practises on web usability, linking, and more. And he covers all the search engines targeting the big three Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

Here are just some of the things you’ll learn when you invest in SEO Book:

  • What really matters when it comes to on-page optimization and the truth about meta tags.
  • The key element of your home page that will determine ranking success for your primary keywords.
  • The important distinction between keywords and keyword phrases, and which of the two you should target in certain contexts.
  • How the correct navigation elements can make or break your site in the search engines.
  • Which big web directories are worth your time and money, and how to properly approach niche directories without wasting time and money.
  • The 15 link-building strategies that work best today.
  • What to do (and what not to do) when the search engine algorithms get updated and your rankings fluctuate.
  • The 5 quickest ways to get kicked out of the search engines (and how to avoid them all).
  • How social media tools like blogs, web feeds and tagging have become crucial to ranking well.
  • The number one key to appearing as the most natural and relevant source to the search engines for your target keywords.
  • And much more!

The reviews for SEO Book are amazing so you just don’t have to take my word for it (check out his website to read some the reviews and testimonials). Here is one from
Professor J. Michael Steele of The Wharton School — University of Pennsylvania:

“Aaron Wall’s SEO Book is the best guide I have found for getting serious web visibility.”

This is hands down the best book on SEO. Plus you get lifetime updates from Aaron which is gold since SEO is under constant change with each search engine algorithm change.

Aaron also offers you a 100% money back guarantee for 90 days! An amazing guarantee. Buy the book, read it within 90 days (I read it in 1-day straight through and I have since read two more times) and if you don’t like it ask for a refund. You can even read it then try to implement some of his suggestions and see how it affects you’re natural rankings on the search engines. If you see no change on day 90 send it back and get your money back.

Honestly I would be surprised if you would ask for a refund this e-book has so much information that it’s one of three e-books I have printed out on three hole page and put into a binder so I can get to easily (SEO Book has so much information on SEO that I had to split into two binders since at 300+ pages it out grew the first binder).

You also get some pretty cool spreadsheets with Aaron’s personal list of directories that he uses to submit articles for those ever important back-links.
